Extern runs a Summer Camp each year for young people aged 8 - 13 years who have been nominated for a place by social services teams within the Western Health & Social Care Trust area. The camp is held at Roscor Youth Village in Fermanagh and entails a high residential component either from Monday to Thursday or Thursday to Sunday, on a rota basis.

Contract Status: Temporary/Fixed-Term for 2 months (July & August 2008).

We are currently seeking applications to fill a number of vacancies for the July and August 2008 period and to form a list for future summer camps for the next 3 years.

Salary: £5.52 per hour plus additional payment for overnights

Hours: 37.5 per week plus 3 overnights. Monday - Thursday or Thursday - Sunday on a rota basis.

Location: The Roscor Youth Village, Bolustymore, Belleek, Co.Fermanagh, BT93 3BS.

Payment: Monthly directly into bank account (via BACS)

Essential Criteria

• Must have basic numeracy and literacy skills (to enable basic form completion/reading of H&S posters/labels etc).
• Must have a minimum of 6 months experience of direct work with young people aged 8 years of age upwards who have been assessed as being in need.
