You will work directly with volunteers, people with dementia, carers, health and social care providers and other voluntary organisations to recruit, train, support and match volunteers with appropriate service-users.
Your skills and knowledge will include good organisational, communication and IT skills, effective listening skills, an understanding of the needs of people with dementia and the ability to travel independently within the Carrick council area. Occasional weekend and evening work will be required.
This is a full time post (35 hours per week) and will be based in the Carrick Council area. It is a one year fixed term contract. Salary is £18,294 (spot, under review) funded for one year by Northern Health & Social Services Board.
