Based within our Northern Ireland Policy, Research and Communications dept.
It is an excellent career move as you will be able to strengthen your communications expertise and improve your knowledge of the charity sector. At the same time, you will be helping to support and promote our efforts to fight poverty, neglect and isolation in older people.
You will be fully involved in implementing communication work plans to support and promote many different aspects of our work, but in particular for Elder Abuse and the Changing Ageing Partnership. Writing is a major element of the role. You will be producing press releases, drafting and editing copy for publications and contributing to copy for our website. You will also aim to develop productive relationships with the media.
It's likely you will already have experience in PR or comms, including researching and writing press releases and other content. However, you may be recent graduate with a relevant degree and demonstrable ability with the written word.
