Rural Housing Association specialises in the provision of general needs housing for rental in disadvantaged rural areas throughout Northern Ireland. The Association has a housing stock of over 300 dwellings at present and a significant number of other projects at various stages in the development cycle.

A highly motivated and enthusiastic person is required to assist in the provision of financial and administrative services within the Association.

Essential criteria

1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
2. Computer literate with previous use of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
3. Methodical with good attention to detail and accuracy.
4. Excellent interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to prioritise own workload and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
6. At least five GCSE’s at Grade C including Maths and English or equivalent qualifications.
7. Two years book keeping experience.
8. Experience of using Accounting Software Packages.

Advantageous criteria

1. Experience of working in a social housing context.
2. IATI Qualification or equivalent.
3. Experience of using TAS books accounting package.
