Access to Benefits - A2B - is a not for profit organisation supported by The Atlantic Philanthropies and specific government funding. It is a four year, fixed term operation which commenced operations in May 2007.
The main business objective of A2B is to maximise the take up of benefit entitlements by older people in Northern Ireland. A2B will be developing an online screening tool to establish the eligibility for benefit for an older person. This will be combined with outreach and training support to increase benefit uptake in N. Ireland.
This role requires an experienced IT Support Administrator to work in a small but dynamic and challenging environment.
Reporting to the Technology Officer the successful applicant will be responsible for day to day operations, the communications environment, and hardware/software issues.
You will deal with IT issues for internal staff, provide onsite and remote IT support for external clients as well as work on continuous improvement of the existing technical infrastructure.
The technologies you will be working on will include Windows Server 2003 (Active directory, Group policy & IIS), Exchange 2007 with push email, SharePoint Server 2007 (including InfoPath forms), Microsoft CRM, Microsoft XP, and Vista & Office 2007.
