£32,436 - £34,140 NJC PT 40–42 The DHSS&PS have commissioned Contact Youth to provide a comprehensive regional 24/7 helpline with services including clinical assessment, counselling, alternative supports and referral service for the entire population of NI to commence in early 2008. To enable the expansion of this vital regional development for suicide prevention we now invite applications for a range of leadership, counselling and support posts.

Reporting to our Regional Programme Manager (community) this new post will liaise with all regional NGO and private sector adult counselling and other alternative service providers, negotiating service level agreements for rapid response counselling and other support
interventions for people referred from Contact Youth’s Regional 24/7 Helpline.
The successful candidate will have a comprehensive working knowledge of the community development and health field, the capacity to develop and maintain a portfolio of excellent business relationships with local community based and regional NGO counselling providers, and have extensive experience in contract negotiation and monitoring.
