CONSULTANT TO EVALUATE A GLOBAL YOUTH WORK PROJECT

The successful applicant will be required to evaluate the Centre for Global Education's 'Global Youth Work Project'. The aim of the project is to promote and support development education in the youth sector in Northern Ireland.

The consultancy will involve two phases of work leading to the following outcomes:

1. to enable the Centre for Global Education to determine the extent to which the project has met its objectives through qualitative and quantitative feedback and assessment
2. to enable a representative sample of key project stakeholders to contribute their views to the evaluation process
3. to determine the basis for extending the Global Youth Work project beyond its current timescale.

The consultant will submit a preliminary report at the end of phase one with interim findings from the evaluation process and produce a final written report at the end of phase two based on an evaluation of all key project activities.

Timescale: Phase one: Sept - Dec 2005
Phase two: June - July 2006
