By taking this role you will become an integral part of a strong friendly team. It's an excellent time to join us and be part of ensuring that policy relating to older people is high on the agenda. You will be tasked with developing policy by identifying research needs, developing briefing papers and documents and analysing research and statistics.
You will be responsible for implementing a programme of evidence gathering appropriate to older people and you will promote policy by making external presentations, contributing to working groups and writing articles for journals, newspapers and magazines.
You will need to draw on your experience of developing and promoting policy decisions to local, regional and national government, including proven experience of developing and monitoring a policy information resource system.
Your research and statistics background will have given you strong analytical skills. You will also be a confident speaker and good writer who can translate complex information into plain English.
