This post offers the opportunity to develop and manage innovative projects for people with a learning disability in the North of the Province.
You will be required to:

• Manage existing services and projects
• Lead the development of good practice in our children's and young
• people's services throughout Northern Ireland
• Develop new services where appropriate
• Promote and support the work of local Mencap groups and other
• voluntary groups
• Represent the interest of people with a disability and their families.

You will require substantial management experience, good negotiation and
communication skills and considerable knowledge of people with a learning disability.
