The Fermanagh Trust was established in 1995 'to promote and support social and community development in the County and its natural hinterland'.

In order to further this work the Trust wishes to appoint a Project Officer who can:

  1. encourage local volunteerism and citizenship
  2. promote networking in and between communities of both traditions
  3. develop the Trust's community mentoring support service, and
  4. provide hands on support to community and voluntary organisations advancing community relations activities.

To be successful you will require

  1. Third level education degree standard or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
  2. A minimum of three years experience working in the community/voluntary sector in programme and project management level within the last 5 years.
  3. Proven experience in group facilitation skills.
  4. Proven experience in formulating and implementing effective programmes of action.
  5. Extensive knowledge and experience of current policy practice and research issues across the voluntary and community sectors.
  6. Good communication and report writing skills and experience of managing a budget.

The position will be based in Enniskillen and will involve evening work.

Access to a car and a clean driving licence is essential.
