The Northern Ireland Association for Mental Health is a registered charity concerned with the promotion of mental health and the provision of mental health services throughout Northern Ireland.

Due to ongoing development of Supported Housing in the Bangor area applications are invited for the following post: Senior Project Worker – 37 Hours per Week.

The successful applicant will work closely with the Home Manager in providing effective and efficient management of the Supported Housing Scheme.

The successful applicant will be a good organiser, flexible and have a positive approach to team work, be pro-active and have the ability to manage and supervise a team of staff.

Essential Criteria:

  • Professional qualification for example:
  1. Professional social work qualification recognised by NISCC.
  2. Registered nurse with current pin number with NMC.
  3. Relevant post graduate qualification in psychology or
  4. equivalent.
  • A full current driving licence and access to a car. Consideration will be given to alternative traveling proposals in respect of applicants with a disability who cannot hold a licence.

Applicants will be expected to work flexibly on the rota applicable to the scheme.
