The Development Officer will engage with members of the Irish Traveller community from 14 years up to increase their knowledge of government, society and the electoral system to enable greater knowledge and participation in the system.

1. Experience in community development, specifically in capacity building with communities to engage with decision making structures and processes.
2. Experience of group facilitation, training and event management and coordination.
3. Knowledge of electoral system and wider decision making process an advantage.
