War on Want NI is a local charity working in Africa with people in their struggle against poverty, hunger and injustice.

We wish to appoint a highly skilled, enthusiastic and strongly target oriented Head of Fundraising to deliver outstanding unrestricted income results and manage a small team.

Applicants must have

1. Three years management responsibility for non restricted charitable income generation.
2. Three years experience of strategic planning, budgeting, and people management.
3. A proven record of achievement and a thorough knowledge of fundraising.
4. Ability to take a handson approach to securing funds from companies and communities, expanding our direct mail function.
5. For the strategic management of our retail function.

You will be working in the War on Want NI office in Belfast and reporting to the Director, but the nature of the job will involve travel in UK and Ireland.

Salary: NJC Scale Principal Officer 3 plus attractive pension package
