Title : Policy Research and Standards Officer Responsible

To : Policy and Strategy Manager

Location : Annsgate House, Ann Street, BELFAST

Hours of Work : 35 Working Hours

Qualifications:

  • Degree Level or equivalent

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience of having conducted primary and secondary research activity
  • Experience of developing questionnaires and research tools
  • Experience of the application of statistical methodology
  • Experience of designing and conducting research studies
  • Experience of preparing reports and drafting policy papers
  • Experience working to and achieving performance targets
  • Experience of analysing and interpreting data, information and statistics
  • The post-holder is expected to be competent in using Microsoft Office Packages (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience of completing funding applications would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of the N.I. Criminal Justice sector would be advantageous
