Opportunity for a Project Manager at Indian Community Centre, Belfast

The Indian Community Centre wish to appoint a Project Manager who will undertake initiatives to:

  • Develop social networking and increase bonding among the members of Indian Community;
  • Integrate the socially and geographically separated Indian members (e.g., elderly people, house-wives and youths) to the main stream of Indian community and local communities of Northern Ireland; and
  • Promote diversity, equality and mutual understanding among the members of Indian Community and the local communities of Northern Ireland.

Experience in organising public events and cross-cultural activities would be an advantage for this position. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products is desirable.

This is a part time position (20 hrs/week), with funding secured for 2 years from Big Lottery Fund.

Starting salary: £10,097 per annum.
