Carers Voices Project
Policy Officer (25 hours/week)£21,033 (pro rata).
This post is initially for two years, and is funded by the Lloyds TSB Foundation for Northern Ireland.
As part of this exciting role, you will be monitoring the policies of all public bodies in NI for their impact on carers, enabling carers to campaign effectively and assisting carers to influence relevant policy and practice through a programme of information, action research and capacity building.
Amongst other key skills, you will have an understanding of the needs of carers and of health and social services policies. You should also have experience of promoting meaningful user involvement in planning or consultation and of analysing, presenting and disseminating data gathered. If you have excellent written and verbal communication skills, experience of producing information materials for a range of audiences and you want to help carers’ voices be heard, we want to hear from you.
Post based at Carers Northern Ireland office in Belfast. Involves travel across Northern Ireland. Please write for application pack enclosing an A4 sae to:
