Development worker 
£12940 per annum initially to end of March 2005

The post is for initially for six months, but with the possibility of extension if funding becomes available.   

To access and encourage training and sharing of expertise within the community and voluntary sector in the Portadown and Craigavon area. To support the 109 member groups and provide advice on funding  and other issues relevant to the sector. To liaise with funders and key voluntary and statutory bodies for the benefit of the organization  its members and the local community.

• Two years working in the community sector.
• Understanding of community development process.

Qualifications

• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Able to work flexible hours when required.
• Third level education preferably with degree in community development or related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to do own administration including monthly reports.
