The HIV Support Centre is recruiting a Support Services Manager.

This person will coordinate, manage and develop the organisation’s support services programme for the community affected by HIV, to meet the needs of this community.

This is a well established senior position within the organisation, attracting a salary of £27,000 per annum, plus pension for a 35 hour week.

The position is Belfast based with a requirement for travel throughout Northern Ireland.

Essential Criteria:

1. A social work or nursing or other relevant qualification plus at least 3 years' post qualifying experience (in a paid capacity) of providing support services within a health and social care context. OR At least 5 years experience (in a paid capacity) of providing support services within a health and social care context.
2. At least one year’s experience of project management.
3. At least one year’s experience of assessing need and planning services to meet need.
4. Flexibility to work outside normal working hours when needed (TOIL system in operation).
5. Access to a car for work purposes or able to meet the mobility requirements of the post in a satisfactory way.
