Qualifications:

• Relevant degree level qualification with a minimum of 2 years relevant senior management experience
• OR
• A minimum of 5 years relevant senior management experience

Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience of policy development and the promotion of rights on behalf of specific interest groups
• Experience of using research and research methodologies as a tool to effect change
• Experience of project management
• Relevant experience of strategic planning and implementation
• The post holder must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages
• Experience of influencing systems and structures within Government (local and/or central) and a knowledge of government procedures would be advantageous
• A knowledge and understanding of the criminal and community justice environment would be advantageous
