Opportunity Youth is recruiting for a number of Peer Educators.

Pay scale NJC, spine points 18-21 £15,675-£17,469

  1. Applicants must have two years experience working with young people in an employed or voluntary capacity AND/OR
  2. Accredited certificate in a discipline associated with youth work e.g. OCR Part-time Youth Work or OCN in Peer Education Level 3 or equivalent.

A waiting list may be drawn up from these interviews for any similar vacancies which may arise in the future within all Opportunity Youth bases in Belfast, Hydebank and Derry.

All posts are inclusive of evening work and occasional weekends.

Successful applicants may be required to be security cleared by Hydebank YOC to ensure services are available to those young people involved in the Positive Steps Through-care initiative within the centre.
