The successful candidate will be required to manage the High Scope implementation of the Eagerness to Learn aspect of the NIPPA Atlantic Philanthropies Project.

  1. A pass level degree (or equivalent) in Education or Early Childhood Care and Education or Social Work.
  2. High/Scope Consultant Trainer.
  3. A minimum of three years (in the last five years) experience providing recognised training and curriculum support to staff working in an early childhood setting.
  4. Demonstrable experience of supporting early years services to gain High/Scope accreditation standards.
  5. Demonstrate an understanding of and a commitment to the High/Scope principles in relation to working with adult learners, children and parents.
  6. Demonstrate working knowledge of the legislative and policy framework for early childhood development in Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland.
  7. Demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to community development principles and practices in early childhood development.
  8. Demonstrate an understanding of research and the implications of evidence for practice development.
  9. Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills with internal and external relations.
  10. A full current driving licence enabling the holder to drive in NI and have the use of a vehicle for official purposes or have access to a form of transport that will enable the candidate to meet the requirements of the post in full.
