NI needs a Bill of Rights Spread the word
Communications Assistant
£20,295 (Pensionable)
35 Hours per week
Fixed Term contract to 30 September 2008 (with possibility of extension)
A major part of your role will be to get the Bill of Rights campaign message effectively reported in print and broadcast media ensuring accuracy, relevance and maximum possible exposure and impact. You will also be responsible for content generation for communications tools such as the Human Rights Consortium website, newsletters, etc.
With at least one year’s experience in a communications role, you will have excellent communication skills with the ability to know the right way to write a story and right way to pitch it. Ideally you will have a good knowledge of current affairs/human rights issues and previous experience of dealing with journalists and news editors.
