Helping young people to make the most of their life's opportunities and be the best they can be. Opportunity Youth are dedicated to offering young people the opportunity to reach their fullest potential and have been a provider of services to young people for over 14 years.

Main job role

1. Development of working relationships through the proactive promotion of Job Ready participants across a range of sectors.
2. Client advocacy.
3. Acting in an advisory capacity to employers to improve the access of unemployed Job Ready participants to live employment vacancies.

Applicants must have

• 2 years proven experience working with young people in an employed or voluntary capacity.
• Applicants must be confident in their ability to work on their own.
• Proven organisational and administrative skills, including accuracy and attention to detail with ability to prioritise workload.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• IT skills in Microsoft Word, Access and Excel.
• As this post will involve travel across Northern Ireland applicants must also hold a current full driving licence valid in the UK with access to a car and be willing to work across designated contract management areas regionally. This criteria will be waived in the case of an applicant whose disability prohibits driving, but who is able to organise suitable alternative arrangements.
