It's a lot less tough for deaf people to get a job here in Northern Ireland, thanks to RNID Employment, Training and Skills Service. They provide advice, guidance and training to deaf and hard of hearing people and work with employers so they understand what a great job deaf people can do, given the chance.

• You will need to have a good understanding of the issues facing deaf and hard of hearing people in employment and knowledge of the local labour market.
• You will have effective communication skills including the ability to use BSL Level 1 and/or ISL Level 1.
• Experience of advice and guidance would be an advantage.
• Proven experience of working, paid or unpaid, in a relevant field is also a requirement.
• This job will involve some travel and the willingness to do so.
