The Young Farmers Clubs of Ulster are seeking to recruit a dynamic & energetic person for a new full time position of Millennium Volunteer/Membership Development Coordinator. The sucessful applicant will be highly motivated with a flair for supporting and developing young volunteers.

Main Role:

  • Encouraging and supporting YFCU members to gain the Millennium Volunteers Award through their voluntary work within Young Farmer's Clubs.
  • Ensuring the quality assurance aspects of the Millennium Volunteer (MV) programme.
  • Involving young people in all aspects of MV programme
  • Assessing and responding to the training needs of Volunteers.
  • Delivering membership support and development initiatives.

Applicants should have:

  • At least 1 years recent experience (paid or voluntary) of working with young people.
  • willingness to work evening sessions and occasional weekends across Northern Ireland.
  • Commitment to the principle of youth led activities.
  • Due to the nature of the post the successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment criminal record checks through Access NI.

Salary range: £14,125-£20,442 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience. Initially funded until March 2011.
