War on Want NI have a vacancy for a Shop Coordinator to manage our secondhand bookshop and Fair Trade shop
Based: 1B Carlisle Road, L'Derry
Hours: 20 per week (four hours per day for five days with alternate Saturday working).
Salary:£6.20 per hour
Leave: 20 paid annual leave days and 12 paid statutory days per year.
The main task of a Shop Coordinator in War on Want NI is to supervise the running of a shop in order to maximise sales and profitability, and to enhance the good name of the charity.
Our shops are the main fundraisers for our projects overseas where we work with very disadvantaged people to improve healthcare, education and small scale job creation.
The Coordinator works with and organises a group of committed shop volunteers.
