The Consumer Council are currently recruiting Head of Consumer Support
The Head of Consumer Support will play a key position within the Senior Management Team with overall responsibility for establishing and managing new teams.
The Consumer Support section will have significant contact with consumers, providers, regulators and stakeholders and will provide critical information and feedback that will allow the Consumer Council to represent consumers more effectively.
Salary: £24,804 to £36,650
The Head of Consumer Support will be responsible for establishing and managing the new Consumer Support Section.
We require an individual with the ability to prioritise a varied and demanding workload while ensuring the efficient running of the Consumer Support Section.
A degree or equivalent plus a minimum of three years’ relevant experience in five of the following areas are essential:
The ideal candidate will also have experience of customer care, handling complaints from the public, leading staff and managing a budget, representing the organisation to external audiences and to the media and informing key decision making at a management level.
Experience of procuring or developing a customer support database system is desirable.
