Clinical Placements Youthline and Face To Face Counselling
Contact Youth invite applications for Clinical Placements to our freephone crisis counselling and suicide prevention service, YOUTHLINE.
We offer 40 volunteer counselling Clinical Placements to host our 24/7 year round helpline and HQ face to face counselling service.
If you have successfully completed your first year Counselling Diploma and you have what it takes to work with young people in crisis, we want to hear from you.
Excellent terms apply, including peer and team leader support, independent group and individual clinical supervision, induction training, CPD and accreditation.
We have a strong track record of staff recruitment from our Clinical Placement pool.
Completion of pre-selection training days are essential (see below).

Completed application forms (preferably typed) must arrive at our Ravenhill Road Belfast HQ (139 Ravenhill Road Belfast BT6 8DR) by 4.00pm Friday 3 November.
Interviews will take place on Nov 21 and Nov 22

Contact Youth Training Days
If you want to sample our field-leading training then sign up for our winter series of stand alone training days which address what we believe are the key themes in youth counselling. Completion of all four training days are required for Clinical Placement Volunteer Counsellors and provide excellent CPD learning opportunities for more experienced Youth Counsellors.
The full package of four intensive, experiential training days will cost £300.00 per delegate (CPD certification available). Stand alone training days, £100.00. A small number of bursary places will be available (conditions apply). Training fees may be reimbursed on satisfactory completion of Youthline Clinical Placement.
