NIDYA will provide training opportunities to young deaf people in Greater Belfast, and in the North West of Northern Ireland, for the purpose of peace reconciliation, social inclusion, to develop new youth work skills and information technology opportunities.
Ideally, applicants should have a proven track record in delivering training programmes.
The applicant should be able to use effective communications skills with Deaf people, preferably through Sign Language. He/She must have completed Level 2 in BSL or ISL. Relevant experience of working with Deaf people would be an advantage. It is essential to this position that the applicant holds a UK driving license and has access to a car.
