The Northern Ireland Association for Mental Health is a registered charity concerned with the promotion of mental health and the provision of mental health services throughout Northern Ireland.

Applications are invited for the following split post between Castlederg and Omagh.

The Project Worker will have excellent communication skills, proven experience in motivating and supporting users of mental health services. They will have the ability to promote the core values of NIAMH.

Essential Criteria will include:

  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Educated NVQ level 2 or equivalent
  • A minimum of 1 year’s experience in a caring capacity
  • Evidence experience and/or knowledge of group work skills
  • Experience of work described in the job description
  • A full current driving licence and access to a car is essential.

Consideration will be given to alternative travelling proposals in respect of applicants with a disability who cannot hold a licence.

Applicants who can demonstrate one year or more mental health experience will start on the second point of the scale i.e. £4,029.
