We now wish to appoint a
Chief Executive
to direct our activities as a cross border local authority led development organisation. This will include facilitation of strategic development activities under the themes of Enterprise, Tourism and Collaboration, to be delivered under the new INTERREG IVA Programme.
This position will be funded under the European Territorial Cooperation INTERREG IVA Programme 2007 - 2013. The nature of funding may require the role to be modified in order to achieve strategic objectives.
This position requires an individual with proven strategic leadership capability and the credibility to influence activities at community, local and central government levels. The successful candidate must possess a third level academic or professional qualification with sufficient experience at an equivalent senior management level to demonstrate a track record of delivering successful outcomes in the following areas:
Access to a form of transport that will enable the post holder to fulfil the travel requirements of the role is essential.
The tenure of this post is anticipated to be 5 years. Secondment will be considered subject to prior approval from the employing organisation.
Salary: NJC Point 57 – 60 (£47,252 - £50,018) (Under Review)
