S.T.E.P. (South Tyrone Empowerment Programme) is a community development and training organisation based in Dungannon. We are currently recruiting for a number of new projects.

Essential criteria for all STEP positions include

  1. A good understanding of and strong commitment to equality and human rights based work, anti-racism, anti-sectarianism and anti-discriminatory practice.
  2. Willingness to undertake occasional evening and week end duty.
  3. All posts will be offered initially for one year with potential for a further employment dependent on project performance and funding.

To maintain and develop support networks, keep up-to-date with
developments in Migrant issues and represent STEP where required.

Hours: 30 hours per week initially

Salary: £19,726.40 {Senior Officer Grade 1. point 30 - full time equivalent (37.5 hrs) £24,658}

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

  1. Any third level degree with at least 2 years experience working in networking or development post, preference given to candidates with background in Migrant or BME issues Or
  2. At least 4 years experience working in networking or development post, preference given to candidates with background in Migrant or BME issues.
  3. English at level 2, cleaning driving licence and access to transport.
  4. Excellent communication and I.T. skills.
