S.T.E.P. (South Tyrone Empowerment Programme) is a community development and training organisation based in Dungannon.

We are currently recruiting for a number of new projects.

  2. A good understanding of and strong commitment to equality and human rights based work, anti-racism, anti-sectarianism and anti-discriminatory practice.
  3. Willingness to undertake occasional evening and weekend duty.
  4. All posts will be offered initially for one year with potential for a further employment dependent on project performance and funding

Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £21,500 approx. (NJC Scale 6, point 26).

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

  1. A relevant third-level (academic) or fourth level (vocational) qualification and one year’s experience of community work or three years community development experience.
  2. Demonstrated facilitation, group work skills.
  3. ICT Competent.
  4. A commitment to equality and respect for diversity.
  5. The ability to drive/a clean licence/access to a car.
