CENTRE FOR GLOBAL EDUCATION invites applications for the position of:

YOUTH OFFICER
(Part time, Job Share, £14,000 per annum)

This position involves job sharing an existing post funded by the Department for International Development (DFID) as part of a development education project in global youth work. The successful candidate will assist the existing post-holder in the delivery of an introduction to global youth work, an OCN accredited training course, and in the delivery of training workshops with individual youth organisations. Other responsibilities include assisting the production of a strategic lobbying document to support enhanced global youth work practice in Northern Ireland and the promotion of a new Citizenship website for youth sector practitioners and young people.

Essential criteria include a working knowledge of the youth sector in Northern Ireland and experience in delivering training workshops to adults and young people.
