The Social Economy Network (Northern Ireland) Ltd is a membership-based organisation drawing its membership from social economy initiatives throughout Northern Ireland.

SEN seeks to recruit the following posts for its new offices at
171 York Road, Belfast BT15 3HB.

Development Worker Salary: NJC Scale points 26-28. £20,895 - £22,293

To promote membership of the Social Economy Network and facilitate
development of the membership to build a strong representative voice for
the social economy sector.

Essential qualifications and experience to include

  • Third level qualification in economic development/community
  • development or other relevant field.
  • At least three years experience of providing support, guidance,
  • training/advice or management support to groups in the
  • voluntary/social economy sector
  • Knowledge and understanding of the social economy sector.
  • Knowledge and understanding of membership based organisations.

Office Administrator Salary: NJC Scale points 14 – 17. £14,787 - £15,825

To establish, maintain and develop appropriate administration systems to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the Social Economy Network office.

Essential qualifications and experience to include

  • An administration qualification of at least NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
  • At least three years experience in a busy office environment.
  • A working knowledge of payroll systems.


Both posts are fixed term contracts for 3 years.
