The post of Development Advisor is to work to implement the RISE project in the Central Border Region of Ireland.
RISE is an Irish cross-border social economy development initiative which is funded under Priority 1, Measure 4 of INTEREG 111A Ireland/Northern Ireland and match funded by Pobal.
The RISE project has as its aim,
To promote and support the sustainability and growth of social economy organisations in areas of rural disadvantage.
The project objectives are
The Development Advisor will work to deliver a range of business and development supports to participating organisations. This will include sustainability/strategic audits, business plans, legal governance and loan finance.
The post holder will also be expected to be experienced in financial planning, financial systems audit and marketing.
The post holder will be based at premises yet to be located in the central border region or may have an option to work from home.
This position is full time and is contracted until June 2008.
Salary: €35,821 (£23,175)
