The School Aged Childcare Training & Development Officers will work with School Aged Childcare Projects in local communities across Northern Ireland in order to help them build capacity.

Through the provision of training, advice and support to both Management Committees and staff, projects will be able to offer high quality sustainable School Aged Childcare services throughout Northern Ireland.

Applicants should possess

1. NVQ3 Playwork and D32/33 assessor award (A Awards) or equivalent and a minimum 3 years experience within the last 5 years in playwork, youth work, childcare, education, social work or community development field Or Minimum of 5 years relevant experience within the last 7 years.
2. Demonstrate knowledge of issues facing local community groups and community development methodologies.
3. Demonstrate knowledge of project development and implementation processes.
4. Demonstrate an understanding of financial systems and procedures.
