Women into Politics Requires a Project Worker for its 'Talking and Taking Part' Programme

Salary: NJC scale SO1 point 29
(35 hours per week)

Project description

This project will deliver key peace and reconciliation objectives to women in targeted areas across Northern Ireland and is funded until June 2008.

Key essential criteria

1. In depth knowledge of the political systems structure in NI.
2. Minimum 2 yrs experience in facilitating discussion among women.
3. Knowledge of and commitment to women’s equality issues.
4. At least one year’s experience in community relations work.
5. Third level education (or equivalent).
6. Willingness to travel.

NB.Due to the essential nature of this job, this post is exempted under Article 70, sub-article 4 of the Fair Employment and Treatment Order.
