Based in Belfast, Sonic DJ Academy, is a vibrant and exciting training organisation offering a wide range of youth culture related courses and services, including DJ skills and dance music production. We work with individuals, youth and community groups, schools and colleges and corporate clients throughout Ireland. We currently have a vacancy for a part-time administrator/receptionist as outlined below.

PART-TIME ADMINISTRATOR/RECEPTIONIST

Sonic DJ Academy requires an experienced administrator/receptionist with administrative and word processing skills (inclusive of formatting skills). A good telephone manner, a working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and previous office experience will be essential.

Salary: £10,000 - £13,500 per annum (pro rata). Hours: 24 hours per week.

Applicants who are successful in obtaining an interview for the post will be asked to undertake a practical exercise to demonstrate their skills.

The Job Broker Officer will support eligible applicants on the New Deal for Disabled People Programme to move into work, matching the needs of both individuals and employers to ensure successful entry into and sustaining of employment.

Essential Criteria

  1. A minimum of one year's experience of working with unemployed people in an advisory and supportive role.
  2. Knowledge of employment and training trends and issues.
  3. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  4. Good working knowledge of employment law.
  5. Previous experience of training delivery.
  6. Driving licence and access to a car.

If the effects of a disability preclude an individual from holding a driving licence then they should indicate how they could meet the mobility needs of the post.

Salary: £16,130-£18,692 plus £2600 car allowance and other benefits.
