The site features real-life stories from men affected by physical and mental ill-health issues, and aims to demystify and destigmatise illness amongst the male population. The use of powerful stories, excellent narrative and sound, helpful advice on the site encourages men to browse the advice, take quizzes and read medical advice in their own time, and is designed as a 'bookmarkable' resource.
A key feature is the inherent ability in the BBC site to email a link to the page to a friend or family member; as a result, key information the user thinks may be relevant to someone else can be sent on elsewhere; useful, if someone you know could do with a push in the right direction.
