Conference
The Commission will host the conference, dealing with the creation of a Human Rights culture in Northern Ireland. The event will be opened by the Chief Commissioner, Prof. Monica McWilliams (pictured).
With an interesting year for rights just coming to an end, issues such as the use of the muslim veil, deportation of asylum seekers, 'on the runs' legislation and freedom of speech have all piqued interest in the area of Human Rights.
With that in mind, the Human Rights Commission will host a varied and topical conference, with discussions and debates throughout the two days.
