The Sea Cadets Corps is a voluntary nautical youth organisation for boys and girls aged between 12 and 18 years.
The organisation is hosting Human Potential: A State of Mind on 12 September in Portrush. Guest speaker is retired US Air Force Colonel Edward L. Hubbard who will share what he has learned as a prisoner of war in North Vietnam for 2,420 days. Taking the most negative situation one can imagine and turning it into one of the most positive personal growth transformations. Colonel Hubbard provides a greater understanding of true untapped human potential, where people become passionately committed with a new attitude and revitalisation.
The evening is for Cadets, their young friends, supporters and business acquaintances, to make them realise what life-potential growth is all about. The ultimate goal for these young people is self-confidence, self-respect, discipline and teamwork.
These are attributes that are valuable in all parts of life, especially in the workplace. This is an opportunity for organisations to demonstrate their Corporate Social Responsibility through supporting an organisation developing potential leaders of the future.
