Speechmatters – Part of the Stroke Association is hosting the Europa Abseil Challenge at the Europa Hotel Belfast, on Sunday 21 September 2008 to raise money for stroke survivors and people living with aphasia – a devastating communication disability caused by a stroke or head injury.
Speechmatters – Part of The Stroke Association still has places available, so what better way to admire the spectacular views of Belfast and beyond by abseiling down the side of the famous Europa Hotel! You can do this challenge on your own, with a friend, partner or in a team. You can wear fancy dress, or even wear company t-shirts. Registration costs just £10 and includes your own fundraising pack.
A minimum of £75 sponsorship money is required in order for you to participate in the event. If you raise £115 you will also receive a Stroke Association T-shirt on the day!
No experience is needed as full training will be given on the day by our fully qualified, professional abseil team, but places are going fast so early booking is advisable!
