Community Transport provides almost 500,000 passenger trips per year. These passengers are local people who have difficulties accessing conventional transport because of disability, age or rural isolation.

Community Transport is a lifeline for many people across Northern Ireland. This week Community Transport Association celebrates the services offered, the wonderful drivers (many of whom are volunteers) and how Northern Ireland's Community Transport groups make a real differnce to people's lives.
