We welcome you to attend this POC (NI) evening course, aimed specifically at volunteers who are nominated or deputy nominated officers within organisations, and who may be unavailable during the day.
This training provides information on the legal requirements placed on organisations as a result of the new Protection of Children and Vulnerable Adults (POCVA) legislation. It will also explore the operational guidance on the POC(NI) Service - previously known as PECS - and the good practice guidelines for the safer recruitment and selection of staff and volunteers.
