Event
We are aware that youth offending at interfaces is a major issue of concern. With this in mind, we will be inviting a number of speakers from different organisations, to speak briefly about:
• The ways in which their organisation is addressing this issue.
• What else do they think their organisation could do.
• What other organisations could do to address this issue.
We aim to look at ways of preventing young people offending. Just as importantly, how can young people who have already become caught up in the criminal justice system be offered a `second chance` to refocus their energies in more positive and productive ways.
This is a valuable opportunity for networking and group discussion.
Date: Friday 15 September 2006

This event will also provide an opportunity to hear people’s views on the format for future thematic discussions in the series, as well as issues to be included.
