This course is designed to raise awareness, promote equality and enable participants challenge discrimination in relation to housing. Focusing on key equality legislation e.g. Race Relations (NI) Order 1997; S75 of Northern Ireland Act 1998; and Disability Discrimination Act 1995 (as amended by the Disability Discrimination (NI) Order 2006) the course will enable those working in the housing arena to understand legislative requirements and to be aware of legal redress.
