Event
The aim of the conference is to bring Belfast Interface Project members and others together to discuss some of the most important issues affecting Belfast’s interface communities today and to suggest ways forward in addressing these. This year we will have two panels of speakers from statutory agencies and the main political parties.
The statutory agency speakers will be:
* Dave Wall, director of the Voluntary and Community Unit at the Department for Social Development NI
* Louise Warde-Hunter, director of the Policy, Research and Youth Division at the Department of Education NI
* Graham Davis, director of Local Economic Development from InvestNI
* A representative from the Northern Ireland Office.
The political party speakers will be:
* Alban Maginness, MLA (SDLP)
* Alex Maskey, MLA (Sinn Fein)
* Nelson McCausland, MLA (UUP)
* Robin Newton, MLA (DUP)
Session 1 (Statutory Agencies) will run from 9.30 - 1.00. Session 2 (Political Parties) will run from 1.00 - 3.55.
