Help the Aged invite older people, sector colleagues and interested parties to the launch of the HandyVan service at Glengormley Pavilion, Glengormley Park, Newtownabbey at 11.00am on Monday 27 March 2006.
This project is in partnership with the Community Safety Unit of the Northern Ireland Office and Age Concern NI.
ABOUT THE SERVICE
The HandyVan service aims to make the homes of vulnerable older people on low incomes safer and more secure by supplying and fitting a range of security and safety products.
HandyVan is a free service and will be available in Belfast, Castlereagh, Newtownabbey and Lisburn.
