Event
One World Week is 19 to 27 November 2005
The theme of this year's One World Week is 'Youth Participation to Tackle Global Poverty' and a training event for youth workers will take place on Tuesday 20 September 2005.
Participants in training will;
- Explore the theme of youth participation to tackle global poverty
- Try out some activities from the pack and identify how these could be adapted to suit particular groups
- Learn about the OWW campaign and identify actions that young people can take
The National Youth Development Education Programme has produced an activity pack for youth work practitioners to explore the theme with young people. All training participants receive a free copy of the pack.
